Fun baby clothes and gifts!


Babybeansprout offers wonderful, high quality baby products from bodysuits to snuggly blankets. This baby gift company specializes in the most colorful and funky diaper cakes, blankets, and unique baby bodysuits. Inspired by children and a love for creative design, Babybeansprout was created.

The women at Babybeansprout find inspiration for their designs all around them. Color and texture are the key ingredients to their designs and it shows! A color palette may come from the way one of their 3 yr. old daughters puts together an outfit, or the color paint seen on an old house. They are drawn to vintage/retro fabrics and color combinations. We at the Patch are drawn to their products because of the high quality items, unique designs and experience!

Butterbean Blanket Co./Babybeansprout was born in April of 2005, but they have been in the apparel business for more than 12 years. With a background in Apparel Design and studying in Paris, France, their products have a unique flair and an original vision.

Not originally from Vermont, but with the relocation to the Green Mountain State, Babybeansprout has begun to put roots here. According to owner, Kelly DeSantos, "Vermont really embraces the entrepreneurial spirit. There is a sense of camaraderie among artisans and small business owners. It is a wonderful area to raise a family and really connect to the community and environment."

As a home-based business, their products are created originally in the home. As the business expands, Babybeansprouts plans to strive to maintain the handmade nature of the products by utilizing the talents of other stay-at-home moms and grandmothers.

At Babybeansprout, safety is their top priority. They carefully label their products with suggestions for safe use, as well as uses that should be avoided. They care about children and the environment, and as a result, they tend to partner with companies who share similar philosophies.

They describe their products as "Whimsical, vibrant, stylish, cozy, and well-made". And after seeing these products in person, we at the Patch agree completely and would also the word, "Functional!"
