Aunt Jenny's Hats

Funky hand knit colorful hats for boys and girls!

When winters are cold and our heads our aching to be warm, we naturally think of Auntie Jenny's hats. These unique hand knit hats are created by Jennifer Knowles in Burlington, Vermont.

Jennifer is inspired to create patterns that are unique and fun and totally wearable. She knows that hats are worn more than any one clothing item on a daily basis (especially in Vermont). So she decided to put her knitting talent to good use by creating high quality, hand made and unique hats to keep children's heads warm!

Not only are these hats fun, colorful, and functional, but knitting them grants Jennifer a great deal of personal satisfaction. According to Jennifer "The possibilities of pattern and designs are endless. They are fun to knit and I love seeing people wearing and enjoying my hats. I have made thousand of hats for heads of all sized and in more patterns than you can imagine and I have heard only compliments...on every single one! These are great hats!"

Jennifer learned to knit as a child and re-learned a few years ago. After attending UVM and once her niece Maggie was born, she became Auntie Jenny and her hats became "Auntie Jenny Hats". Now she can continue to make hats because they are such fun to knit.

When she's not knitting hats for selling online, at craft shows, and for her family and friends, Jennifer enjoys spending time at the Burlington waterfront, attending a variety of Vermont festivals, and exploring the many places to hike in Vermont.

So if you're visiting Vermont and spy a knitter with her trusty knitting bag, it just might be Auntie Jenny. She can be found knitting while attending children's dance classes, attending long meetings, and even simply riding in the car! Of course, knitting is a great stress reducer for Jenny so she often ends her day at home designing and pearling!
